Hey, I'm Nick! A personable, fun, super easy going guy and I am here to congratulate you on this amazing journey you are about to go on!

Photography is my full-time job so I am dedicated to each and every one of my clients and expect more from myself than you ever would in a photographer.

You will have so much on your plate to worry about for you big day, and I don't want photography to be one of those things. I am not just your wedding photographer...I am here to help you plan, help you look your best, and help you enjoy this amazing day that you have put so much time and heart into. You will spend countless hours going through and deciding every detail of this wedding and my goal is for you to be able to look back at your photos for years to come and just remember those special moments and be able to relive that day! My focus is capturing love & emotions and telling your story...plain and simple!

I truly am excited for you to get married and I would love to be the one to help document it for you!

Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are such a great experience and an important step leading up to your wedding day! Not only are your photos typically used for your save the dates, but it gives us a chance to work together prior to your big day. Getting your photo taken is not easy so having a session will allow us to understand each other better and help work through some of that awkwardness that comes with being photographed. My approach is very natural and while there will be some posing, I like to give more prompts that have you play off of each other and really bring out the fun and natural emotions. Engagement sessions are so much fun and easily my favorite type of session.

Location

Picking an engagement session location is based on the vibe you are going for. We will have conversations leading up to your session around what you are looking for and find a location that will best fit the vibe you envisioned.

Getting Ready Tips

Bride/Partner 1 getting ready

Ideal Time Allotment: 60-90 minutes

Ideal Time: Morning - Early Afternoon

Ideal Location: Bedroom, Staged Room, Outside

At this time, I will shoot the all of the detail shots. Please be sure to bring the dress/veil, jewelry, flowers, accessories, perfume, invite suite etc.

Groom/Partner 2 getting ready

Ideal Time Allotment: 45-60 minutes

Ideal Time: Morning - Early Afternoon

Ideal Location: Bedroom, Staged Room, Outside

At this time, my second photographer will photograph the finishing stages of the getting ready. These include the party hanging out, details, and some mocked up portrait photos.

  • We were looking for our photographer's editing style to be very crisp, clear, and true to color, and that's exactly what he brings to the table.

    Heather & Matt

  • We are not very comfortable in front of a camera, but he made our photos look like we were naturals. He gave certain cues and got us to laugh so the nerves and awkwardness did not come through in the photographs at all!

    Melinda & Brendan

  • HE TRULY CARES ABOUT HIS COUPLES AND THE WORK HE DOES. STOP SEARCHING & HIRE HIM NOW

    Kayla & Zack

  • He’s super talented, very professional and serious about what he does, but he’s also a very fun person to be around, which helped keep things light and a little less stressful, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day!

First look

vs

Down the aisle

First look prior to the ceremony

I am a big fan of first looks for many reasons. Your day will be filled with a timeline that has every minute planned and by doing a first look you can help take some of that stress and alleviate the crunched timeline by doing photos before the ceremony. It will help the day run smooth, give us more time to do photos, and possibly even let you enjoy your cocktail hour! The biggest hesitation with a first look is wanting that traditional feel of seeing the bride for the first time down the aisle, but I can tell you in my experience, the first looks are more intimate and bring on the same if not more emotions from my couples! Plus you will still have the coming down the aisle groom reaction shot during the ceremony.

Ceremony First look

This is the more traditional way of seeing each other on your wedding day. It is special, it is traditional and it is in front of all your guests to see. If you want to wait for the ceremony, we would then do the family formals, bridal party photos, and bride & groom portraits during your cocktail hour.

TIP: When deciding, keep in mind the season or time of day. Depending on what you are looking for in photos, there may not be light available after your ceremony.

Either option you choose I am here to document it for you!

Details

While you’re getting glammed up, this is when we will do all of the pretty detail shots of the things you wear, important items, invitation suites etc.

For example, those might include: shoes | dress | bouquets | jewelry | tie | vows | rings

If you can have these items ready in each of the separate rooms, that will make it easiest for us to make sure every little detail that is important to you is captured!

Tip | Bring a wood hanger for your dress shots. These look much better then plastic hangers.
